St Andrews Fun Day!

On Friday some leaders from St Andrews school came to South Hornby. they ran some activities for us
including Jump jam, marshmallow towers, Muiltisport, Playdoh, ping pong catapult. the also gave us some free hot dogs for lunch.

the Maori days of the week

In math we have been doing the days of the week but in Maori.we had to stick it on 

our project book in order. then we write the days of the week in English.

i found it easy because i knew the Maori words already.

Man On The Moon

In reading we are learning to summaries. We read a newspaper article about the first moon landing in 1969. We had to pick out the key words and put them into sentences.

Alien Description

In writing we are learning to use adjectives. We had to describe an alien. We brainstormed together words and sentences. We had to put them into sentence using full stops and capital letters.
