Why we should ban plastic straws

Hello Readers!

Today we are talking about Why we should ban plastic because we think plastic is bad for our planet so I am going to tell you the reasons why we should ban plastic straws!

Firstly some straws are in the oceans and they are killing the turtles. We watched a video about a straw in a turtles nose and i didn't wanna watch it because it was sad and it has blood in it.

Second you cant get rid of plastic straws because if you try to burn the straws they make air pollution and it make the people hard for them to breath. We need to stop using plastic straws and use paper straws,Bamboo straw and metal straws.

Third Plastic makes dangerous chemicals. If you leave plastic in the water animals think that it is food and they eat it and then they die and if we leave plastic in the water the water becomes disgusting.

Forth when you see a plastic on the floor you need to pick it up and put it in the rubbish bin otherwise it will make the earth rot and then it will make it hard for us to live. Lots of animals die because plastic is in the sea/ocean and we need to save them so we need to put it in the bin instead of the sea and that means we are littering so don´t litter it is bad for you and the animals.

Last plastic kills the environment and it makes the people sick because what if your burning it or leaving it on the floor because if you are your making yourself sick and making the animals die because some people that are lazy just put it in the sea so look after the animals or else your killing them so look after the animals.

Measuring

In the past week we have been doing measuring in our homerooms. we had to make a slideshow for our measuring. It took forever for the slideshow to finish but i finished it. here is my work

It was hard for me because i keep forgetting what to do every single time but anyways I hope you liked my blog and make sure to watch the slideshow. 

Kandinsky art for calendars

During this week we have been making Kandinsky art for our calendar. First we water paint our circles and then we draw our silhouette on a white piece of paper. Once we draw our silhouette we copy it on a black piece of paper and then try to cut it out and then stick it on the Kandinsky art. it was hard and frustrating for me because when i had to stick my silhouette on my art it was frustrating because every time i stick it on it sticks to my finger and come off the paper and i have t do it all over again but at least I finished it.

Fruity bars

During this week we have been cooking (and learning) about food. We had to make a box for our muesli bars and we also had to make our own muesli bars for our own group and we get to make our own logo but it was tricky because we had to think of what it has to like on our box and then draw it on our Chromebooks so it was hard for me. here is the logo we did before we made our boxes and our muesli bars.

A couple of days ago we tried to do instructions for the little kids who don't know how to tie there shoes. we had to make it on our chrome books then we can print it so we can give it to the little kids.But i made a video instead.
