Cultural Kete
Kia ora Whanau! Today in class we have been doing this thing called Cultural Kete. We had to write the meaning of what was on our site. Here it is.
I am a Year 7 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

Kia ora Whanau!
Today me and my class did a 100 word challenge but St Patrick's day themed! I want to share you my work to see if it's good. Here is my work! It was hard because I had to think of a sentence to start the story.
Once upon a time there was a world where people only wore green
but they got kidnapped by the queen of hearts because she wanted all the lucky leaf clovers to be the luckiest and most powerful person in the world.
1000 years later there is this baby and he is sleeping on a 4 leaf clover!
He woke up and looked confused because he was looking for his mum and dad.
Then he saw these animals pop out of a bush and they say,
“Hello little one we are here to protect you from the queen of hearts till you're all grown up"
Then 20 years later he was a grownup and then he was ready to fight the queen so he went to her castle an to beat her and get the other green people back to their village and they lived happily ever after!

Kia ora, kei te pēhea koe? I hope you are doing great. I really respect that your a good rugby player. I never knew that you were a rugby player because when I saw a video of you practising your rugby I said in my mind " Omg she's a rugby player Wow!" I wanted to ask a question. Do you get tired when you have to be a teacher and a rugby player at the same time? Because if I was a teacher and a rugby player I would just sleep in the middle of my practising! I hope you win in one of your games!

Hi Readers!
In the past week we have been doing the 100 Word Challenge. The 100 Word Challenge is you have to write 100 words about what you see in the picture and make it a story. It was hard for me because I had to think what was in the picture and make it a story but at least I finished it. Here is the work I've done.
Hello, I am Jerry.
I like to have a party in a cup and eat food and the colour of me is light orange and white and I think l can
see a cat nearby and I'm scared it will eat me. And l am having fun with my food. It is a chip and it is
delicious. My family died in the 1980s and I cried and I cried from this DAY and a 100 year later l
am here and the cat is COMING!! And I cried and cried but I will get used to it. My name is Jerry.
