100 Word Challenge

One day there was a family and they were moving in to a old house and there was this girl she was 15 and her name was Wairau. She always thought the house would be haunted but her parents didn't believe her so she told her parents to move into the house and try to get revenge since they didn't believe her. At night Wairau was asleep but then she heard a noise from the garage and she put her dark blue jacket on and she went outside. When she looked outside she looked frightened by the mist so she quickly went in the garage then she saw a werewolf and then she ran back inside and then the werewolf wiped out her memories and she now doesn't know anything about the wolf

Bungee Jumping Comprehension

After me and my group has been reading the bungee jumping we had to do this comprehension and we had to draw a person bungee jumping off a random place and we had to blog about it. BUNGEE JUMPING!!!

Today Me and group has been reading about how and when bungee jumping was made. The person who made bungee jumping was Alan John Hackett and his friends. How he made it was he used a thick cord and he put a thousand rubber bands on it and he jump off into the air. When did everyone know it was made? He tied the cord and the rubber bands to the Eiffel tower and he jumped off and attracts everyone's attention but then he got arrested because it was too dangerous. I thought it would be scary because I don't really like showing my face on my blog but I gave it a try and I did it. In class I have been doing comprehension and today I will be studying Easiyo. Here are the questions and I will be answering them.

2. Why do you think they chose the name Easiyo: Because so he want it to be more healthy in the supermarket fridges

3. Why does yoghurt not remain healthy for very long, even in the supermarket fridge: Storing longer than that allows molds, yeast and slow-growing bacteria to grow and spoil your yogurt

4. What does the word "deteriorate" mean: means that your progress is getting worse and worse

The Cardboard Cathedral

Today me and my reading group has been reading about this thing called The Cardboard Cathedral.

The Cardboard Cathedral was built after the 2011 earthquakes and thanks to Shigeru Ban and he goes around the word to built amazing things and it was open in August 2013 for the first earthquake anniversary and it was designed by the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban in collaboration with local firm Warren and Mahoney, it cost under $6 million. Me and my reading group has been going on google drawings and we had to try and make a cardboard cathedral for our blog and this is my one and I hope you like it and leave a comment if your interested goodbye.

1. How many years have cars been in New Zealand? How did they get there?

They were in New Zealand for 120 Years and they came from France in a steamboat Rotomahana

2. How fast was the little car? How fast could the bigger car go?

The little car can go 16 kilometres an hour and the bigger one can go 50 kilometres an hour

3. Why were the "onlookers shocked"?

Because William crashed into the fence and it was the first New Zealand crash

Nicholas Oates was caught driving his car over the speed limit 6 kilometres

5. Explain your own words what the Dennison car did? 

A man called Fred Dennison he made his own little car and he went on a huge trip to Ōamaru and it took three hours

1. Based on the cover of the book Charlotte's Web, who do you think it might be about?

I think the book is about Charlotte the spider. 

2. What clue from the cover helped you make that guess?

I thought that the main character might be Charlotte because of the cobwebs around the title  and the characters looking up at the spider.

3. Read the back of the book, did any of your predictions come true?

Yes I thought the book was about a spider and I was correct.

4. Tell us two things you know that you have read the back of the book?

Wilbur and the spider called Charlotte became friends and maybe Wilbur will be turned to bacon.

Info About Fern (Charlotte's Web)

Fern's full name is Fern Arable. Fern is a Loving, Sweet little girl who lives on a farm. She will do anything to keep Wilbur alive. She feeds Wilbur with warm milk and she pushes him around in a baby carriage like a baby. She is Calm, Caring and Sweet to everyone she loves the most. She is eight years old and she has a little brother called Avery.

100 Word Challenge

 

Once There was a pink little alien and he had been on earth for 1000 years and he has been in the same house for years. He has been watching people move away to different houses but when new people come into the house they have a cat! The alien was scared so it hid behind a cup and waited there. In the morning the alien woke up and the cat was right next to him but he was asleep so the alien walked slowly like a snail and tried not to wake up the cat. while the alien was carefully walking he make a noise accidentally and the cat woke up but this time the cat didn't chase the alien he just sat there looking at it and then the alien was confused so the alien patted the cat and they became friends.

Today I'm telling what music is to you. Music is a song and it will make you get a different emotions. What I enjoy Music is listening to my favourite song because it help me study and helps me calm down. When I listen to music it makes me Energetic, Sad, Excited, Depressed and Calm.
