 Equitment:

1. Samples 1-9

2. Blindfold Glasses

3. Recording Chart

4. Ice cream stick taster

1. Get safety glasses and blindfold

2. Set up your chart and make sure that the person your working knows where to record your responses

3. Using an ice-cream stick you will dip it into the sample. Once the sample is in the sample you will taste it and tell your partner your response.

Kakapo protest

 Kia Ora Readers,

Today me and my group has read this book called ugly. It's about this boy who was just having a normal day until he looked at the ugliest bird competition and what he saw made his emotions turn angry! He saw the Kakapo as the 6th top ugliest bird so he wanted to protest. When he went to school and made a poster that said: "Help the Kakapo! Stop the petition! So the kids wanted to make there own poster. Protest is when you deny that you feel the way that a person is accusing you of feeling. An example of protest is when you carry signs and picket a workplace to show your disapproval for their bad labour practices. 

Why is being Cybersmart important to our learning

I think Cybersmart is important to our learning because Cybersmart helps you with your reading and it makes you do the right thing. Cybersmart helps you with your learning by teaching you stuff that you need to learn like how to look after your chromebook or how to put a video on your blog for example. Cybersmart tells you things that are appropriate and not appropriate. So Cybersmart is doing this for safety. Without Cybersmart people will go crazy and dum and won't know what to do.

STEAM Kete

 This term we are doing STEAM Kete. We have to work in a group of four. I worked with my twin sister Mikhanya, Riansha and Aone. Our topic is Fashion and e-textiles. We have been planning to create a Korowai and Poi so we can wear and perform it in 2050. We have been working in our groups on a couple of weeks but on the last week of the term it was the last time we had to finish it. we had to work quick and hurry up but when the bell rang lots of people came to our classroom and lots of inventions and stuff were on the table which means we were presenting today and lots of people came to our presentation.

We should bring our pets at school

I agree because they make you comfortable, warming and loved. Some kids don't have anyone to play tag with them or hide & seek so if they buy a pet they can play with them so they don't feel lonely. If you were at a game after school or you had to do work you might get kidnapped and you don't have anyone with you but if you had you a dog or something strong that you teached to fight you wouldn't get killed.

Why Kids should not wear uniform at school

Today me and my class were discussing why and if we need wear uniform at school so I wanna share if I disagree or agree and why. 

I agree because when your wearing your normal clothes some people might feel more comfortable more than wearing school uniform that's not your type. Some people might like skirts and dresses and some people don't and they have to wear their uniform which is a dress and can't wear the boys uniform. When you wake up in the morning you always have to get dressed into your uniform and if they have to get buttoned it would take longer.

Year 7/8's Student's Should be Allowed to have Phones at School

Today me and my class are sick and tired of going to school without phones so we talked to the kids if they agree or disagree. Some kids say no some kids say yes but that's ok so I wanna share if I disagree or agree.

I agree because if your in trouble like your getting kidnapped or your about to die or something you need your phone to call the police or your mum to get help but if you don't you will probably get killed. When you feel bad you can just go on your phone and just text someone who makes you feel comfortable. When someone dies in your family or your friends you can look at your phone and see the photo's of your family.
